There are no mosquitoes in November

This spoken from the mouth of an infectious disease specialist in Dallas, Texas.

Well, I'm here to tell you that doctor is an arrogant asshole full of himself and I hope an anvil drops on his head like the ones on Wile E. Coyote in the old Road Runner cartoons.

The photo was taken this morning, 12/20/2013, in my master bathroom after I smashed this little fucker on the mirror.

This was after the freeze Dallas had that started the evening of 12/5/13 and lasted until about 12/10/13. Dallas then had a couple of 50-70 degree days.

Anyway, this is my way of letting you know what everyone probably already knows and that's you cannot trust ANY doctors that are "experts" in their field. This infectious asshole...I mean disease specialist...didn't even want to hear about mosquitoes in November.

We are destined to be infested with rodents or insects

A beehive has been constructed in my attic. I actually took this picture like a week and a half ago but just got around to posting it. My friend was over one weekend and happened to see something "leaking" from the eave of the roof down the front wall. I had my nephew climb up to touch the substance and my friend, Shawn, tasted it and said it was honey.

I climbed into the attic with my trusty flashlight. I was cautious to listen for buzzing but didn't hear any. I found the area that would be adjacent to the outside where it was leaking and move the insulation, slowly as to not stir any bees waiting in stealth mode for attacking.

This is what I saw...

It's like Amityville Horror.

The following Tuesday the exterminator came out to make sure the bees were dead and then returned on Friday to remove the hive because new bees will take over the hive if left in tact, not to mention the honey attracts ants, flies, and other insects.

It's crazy, man, crazy!

Now the flies are infesting

I am the LORD OF THE FLIES!

You would think that in the high-dollar area that I live in, we wouldn't be dealing with things you'd see in a slum lord's dwelling. I think we live in the 2nd ranked slum lord's district in the rich area! We saw the 1st ranked one's last Friday. Too bad I didn't have pictures of his place.
