Lolo Jones aka Lori Jones

Saw an article headline stating the following:
Lolo Jones talks candidly of struggle to 'stay a virgin'
Click here for story while the link lasts.
It got my interests peaked.

I Googled her and I guess this is her official website here. And for the men who like me prefer pictures more than words, I Googled images of her here, of which I've shared one (inset).

It's commendable on her sustaining her virginity.

Walgreen's email ads are sometimes weird

I've written a few times or more about the power or powerlessness of advertising and product placement. I received this advertisement in an email because I'm on their email listserv as a willing participant from Walgreens. I just thought it was funny on the mix of the products they put in this ad.

I would like to think they had some kind of theme for the email blast but I'm not totally sure. I was thinking it was about summer, the beach and the like. I guess it follows that theme...sort of. You got your sun care products, your sunglasses, baby and children toys and then...what? Sexual wellness? I guess that could be a summer beachy thing.

What is Symbian?

Okay, I really don't need to know what it is but every time I see the word it makes me think of another one. I guess it's because of my perverted nature or unusual knowledge of certain aspects of pornography and sex toys. I'm not into either but I think it's innate for boys/men to have a base knowledge of the two by a certain age; no definite age but some earlier bloomers than others.

So, what is the word that always comes to mind for me?

Symbian versus Sybian

You can see why the initial confusion, right?

Chloe (2009)

Just quickly, in the movie Chloe (2009), Liam Neeson is pissed that his wife, Julianne Moore, had an affair. Once she tells him she slept with another woman (Amanda Seyfried) and explains that she felt unsexy and not knowing how to seduce him, he starts to seductively and deeply kiss her.

So, what do we learn from this?

One - That men can forgive a woman for cheating on them as long as it was with another (preferably hot) woman.

Two - That men also get very aroused at the concept of their woman having sex with another (preferably hot) woman that he doesn't care that she "technically" cheated on him. He's instead thinking that this could work in his favor like in a menage a trois.

So, the movie was okay. It was interesting and slow at times but the partial and full boob shots made it worth my while. About halfway through, you can probably guess part of the plot because it's been done before in some form or fashion.

Amanda's just got some beautiful...eyes...that you could get lost in. At 49, Julianne is still pretty hot and sexy.

I think I just threw up a little bit

I can't even post the picture of this book's cover without getting a little nauseous.

But, I can share with the rest of the blogosphere! ;-P

WORD BUFF

Most people know I'm a bit of a word buff, but I just found this too interesting...

Did you know:

* That the words "race car" spelled backward still spells "race car".

* That "eat" is the only word that if you take the 1st letter and move it to the last, it spells its past tense "ate".

* And Have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants", and add just a few more letters, it spells out: "Go home you fucking, free-loading, benefit grabbing, kid-producing, violent, non-English speaking assholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal wearing, bomb making, goat loving, raggedy ass Muslim camel jockey bastards with you."

How weird is that????

Why Condoms Come In Boxes of 3, 6, and 12

A man walks into a drug store with his 8-year old son. They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy asks, "What are these, Dad?" To which the man matter-of-factly replies, "Those are called condoms, son. Men use them to have safe sex."

"Oh I see," replied the boy pensively. Yes, I've heard of that in health Class at school." He looks over the display and picks up a package of 3 and Asks, "Why are there 3 in this package?"

The dad replies, "Those are for school boys, ONE for Friday, ONE for Saturday, and ONE for Sunday."

"Cool" says the boy. He notices a 6 pack and asks, "Then who are these for?" Those are for college men," the dad answers, TWO for Friday, TWO for Saturday, and TWO for Sunday."

"WOW!" exclaimed the boy, "then who uses THESE?" he asks, picking up a 12 Pack! With a sigh, the dad replied, "Those are for the married men. ONE for January, ONE for February, ONE for March..."

From nbcdfw.com: Sex As a Deadly Weapon? Jury Says Yes...Jury Finds Man Guilty of Spreading HIV

Click here for the article as long as it lasts.

First let me say, I wouldn't want to be one of these women who contracted HIV from this man. Hell, I wouldn't want to be a man who contracted HIV from any woman.

BUT...as the article quotes the defense attorney as saying, "...in Texas, there is no law mandating that Padieu [defendant] had to tell anyone he was HIV-positive." In ANY state for that matter (in my limited knowledge, of course) so I have to concur. It's not like this guy was cutting himself and flinging his blood to maliciously and possibly infect people. He had consenting adult sex, end of story. Sucks for the ladies but c'mon! I totally think this man should pay for what he did whether it was malicious or not. He knew he was HIV-infected and he didn't do the courteous thing and inform soon-to-be sex partners.

At the same time, the defense attorney once again wisely states, "The women had a responsibility to practice safe sex just as much as Padieu, if not more." Again, I totally agree. I mean the way this guy looks would have scared me off and been my form of practicing safe sex. I just wonder what these women looked liked. Arf! Arf!

Again, I think he should be bound and gagged and hung by his testicles! I think any person who carries a highly infectious, life-threatening disease should have to inform people before having sex. I think carrying medical records around or some kind of barcode scanner to read RFID medical tags or something should definitely be discussed as possible solutions.

Anyway, my real reason for posting is another quote from the defense attorney stating, "No glove, no love, pure and simple...That should have been the rule. If that didn't happen, they should have walked out, and he should have too."

It's better than "if it don't fit, you must acquit!"
