I just got an email notice saying that my Logitech Harmony 880 has been shipped. I took the plunge Friday on getting this fairly expensive remote although it already has an updated version. It was $149.99 on Amazon but I used a coupon code that took off $50.00 and I got free fun-saver (or whatever it's called) shipping. So, $99.99 out of the block without any tax or shipping. I figured it was a fair deal to take a look at and try something I just couldn't bring myself to pay so much for in the past. It's still a little higher than I would like to spend but if it controls all my different components — tv, stereo, dvd, dvr, and vcr (yes, i still have one) — then it may be well worth its cost.
Super-save shipping time and delivery says it should be on my doorstep by March 13th. We'll see and I'll probably give a brief and non-technical (in writing only) review.
