Saw this picture on the BBCs "Day in Pictures" here. It was picture #8.Many champions of many tournaments for many years have done something to the trophy they have won but I don't think any have ever bitten it. Kissed it, caressed it, rubbed it like a magic lamp but bitten it? I don't think so.
Is it a macho thing? Is it something he does to test it to make sure it is real like they did with gold coins and such in the old Westerns? Who knows?
I think once was acceptable but four years running at the French Open and however many times at other tournaments he's won is just odd.
Oh well!
