Perusing Craigslist again today and came across a few mentionables but thought I would post this one.
What do you do when you want to change up your yard and don't want to do the labor? Post a listing on Craigslist for "Free [insert item here]" and hope people are dumb enough to respond.
So, this guy is offering free shrubs. Are they really free? Hell no! The "buyer" has to put out the effort to dig the fuckers up and haul them away. Then they have to put out the effort to plant them wherever the hell it is they plan to.
Is it really a bargain? Some may think so but I'm not doing some other person's labor for free. You might as well tell your boss you are going to work your 8-hr shift today wage-free.
The only way I could see this being a bargain is if some landscaper just happens to need this type of bush, digs them up, takes them to the job where they are needed and charges the customer a hundred bucks or so. Then this would be a great deal.
Oh well. Back to my mundane job!
